René Lew is a psychoanalyst practicing in Paris. Medical
director of a community child and adolescent mental
health clinic (Ivry-sur-Seine), he is an attending
psychiatrist at the Hôpital Esquirol. A co-founder
and member of Dimensions de la Psychanalyse and
the executive editor of the journal Cahiers de lectures
freudiennes, he is the founder and president of La
Lysimage, an association dedicated to psychoanalytic
formation, publishing, and outreach. The author of many
articles on psychoanalysis, he is currently focusing on
clinical work with autistic and psychotic children.
