Location:This event is free and open to the public and will be conducted in a hybrid format (simultaneously in-person at SVA and online via Zoom).
NOTE: In-person registration closes Thursday, June 9, at 6pm. Please note the building requires all visitors to show proof of vaccination and to wear masks inside the building. (Participation via Zoom will be as usual, with login details being emailed upon registration.)
Andrew Stein is an Analysand-in-Formation at Après Coup and has a private practice. He is editor of the online journal parceque ce n'est pas ca.
Kareen Malone is an Analysand-in-Formation with Après Coup Psychoanalytic Association (New York), Professor Emerita of Psychology (University of West Georgia), and Fellow, American Psychological Association. Author of numerous chapters and articles, she co-edited three books on Lacanian psychoanalysis and co-authored Science as psychology, an APA William James Award recipient. She is in clinical practice in Atlanta and corresponding faculty at the Emory University Institute of Psychoanalysis.
Peter Gillespie is a psychoanalyst in private practice in Brooklyn and an Analysand-in-Formation at Après Coup Psychoanalytic Association.
Salvatore F. Guido is a member and faculty member of Après-Coup, and practices psychoanalysis in NYC. His most recent reading group, offered this year, carries the title The Unsurpassable Horizon of Childhood: Dreaming, Reading, Writing. His writing has appeared in journals such as differences: A Journal of Feminist Cultural Studies, and he has presented internationally.
Mark Stafford is an analyst & member of Après-Coup where he completed the formation program. He has been the editor of Seahorse Editions since it’s foundation by Paola Mieli. He is on the faculty of Après- Coup and an adjunct faculty at the School of Visual Arts New York.
