Returning to Freud’s and Lacan’s articulations of the subject of language and the social link, this seminar continues to explore voluntary servitude. The relation between social and psychic scene, the notions of authority, of subject supposed to know and the names of the father, will be studied. Particular attention will be paid on their function in the unfolding of the treatment.
Each meeting will include a discussion of specific readings, which will be decided meeting by meeting and posted on our website.
