Freud Reading Group — Mark Stafford and Martin Winn

We will continue our reading of Freud’s clinical and historical cases, paying attention to the significant decisions made when Freud’s concepts were translated into English. We will also read Freud’s metapsychological papers and theoretical elaborations. 

Dates: The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 3 from 7:45 PM to 9:00 PM. Subsequent dates will be posted on our website.

Location: Online via Zoom.

Mark Stafford is a psychoanalyst in New York, and a member, and Formation Program alumnus, of Après-Coup Psychoanalytic Association.

Martin Winn practices psychoanalysis in New York. He is a member and faculty member of Après-Coup Psychoanalytic Association. Several of his articles and papers on psychoanalysis have appeared 
in DIVISION/Review and Charlie Hebdo. His most recent article, “Contagion, a hystorie,” was published in essaim 48 (2022).
